Kerry likes to backwoods camp, but has been unable
to find much opportunity for this activity in Iowa as most of the
public camping areas are developed. There are, however, ample
opportunities for this form of camping in other states including
Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Minnesota. Future plans
include backwoods camping (including Jeeping and fishing as well) in
Colorado, perhaps as early as 2006. Links:
